Thanks to all of our awesome volunteers over the past week, we have finished the playground work 1 day ahead of schedule!

Ok guys now you have me BEGGING for help. We’ve been in this together for over 3 years now and now we are just weeks away from building the BEST playground in Elk Grove. So please consider taking one of the positions Lisa has identified below. If you don’t see something below you are able to help with please contact Lisa Brown at 685-0931 (tippytoes@elkgrove.net). There are plenty of ways you can help…even from home.

Are you Handy with a Hammer? Brazen with Bolts? We Need YOU!

Come out and help build the newest playground to hit Elk Grove. CSD Playground Partners need individuals to volunteer at BUILD DAZE!

Located at Morse Community Park (Bellaterra & Fire Poppy Roads) on June 21,22,28,29.

Shifts are available from 8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm.

Kaiser Permanente Donates $10,000 To The Playground Project!

We are very proud to welcome Kaiser Permanente as one of our major sponsors. On Tuesday, October 2, they presented a check for $10,000 to the CSD Playground Partners.

Founded in 1945, Kaiser Permanente is the nation’s largest nonprofit health plan, serving 8.7 million members, with headquarters in Oakland, California. Kaiser Permanente was born out of the challenge of providing Americans medical care during the Great Depression and World War II, when most people could not afford to go to a doctor. As you may know, Kaiser Permanente plans a $300 million expansion in our area which includes a $30 million adult level II trauma center. They have invited the public to dinner on Tuesday October 9th from 6:00-8:00pm to discuss their expansion plans for health care services in Elk Grove and South Sacramento. Buy your Fireworks at our River City Bank stand and help support the playground!

Fireworks Stand - Playground Partners is operating a Phantom fireworks booth in the River City Bank parking lot at 8923 Elk Grove Blvd ( Near Old Town, across from the new library).

We want your business and will do whatever we can do get you the fireworks you want…..

Please show your support of our effort by bringing us your business. Fireworks booths do not accept checks, but we have an ATM machine conveniently located next to the booth. Unlike most other booths we can also accept credit card payments.

The booth will be open 12-8pm Thursday June 28th – July 4th.

If you have a large purchase (over $250) and would like to order with us over the phone we will deliver the fireworks to you.

If you belong to any of the following organizations we will donate 10% of your purchase to your organization:
