General Information

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a safe, accessible, and exciting outdoor venue for imaginative and developmental play. As a byproduct of building this unique playground and water sprayground we hope to build a stronger community through our shared vision and effort.

Who We Are

Playground Partners is a non-profit organization formed under the Consumnes Services District Foundation. Our membership includes children, young adults, local government officials. All members are non-paid volunteers.

By organizing a work force of “free labor” volunteers we hope to build a bigger at one quarter of the cost for a similar commercially constructed playground.

Our Goal

Our goal is to build a 15,000sf playground and water “sprayground” at the 30-acre Morse Community Park, at Bellaterra Drive and Fire Poppy Drive in East Franklin area of Elk Grove.

The playground amenities will include a Tot Lot for kids 2-5 years old, a massive main play area for children 5-12 years old, shade structures, and water sprayground for safe water play during the hot summer months.

The sprayground will be the first of its kind in the City of Elk Grove and promises to attract young ones from throughout our area during the hot summer months.

The playground will be built by volunteer labor force in 5 days or less. The sprayground will be professionally installed by the manufacturer.

Park design elements were developed with input from school children, local community members, local government officials, architects, and other playground professionals.

The play structures will be modern in style, constructed in high quality man made materials, and incorporate the latest technology to ensure your child’s safety.

Certified playground inspectors and specialist from the equipment manufacturer will be on site during the construction phase to ensure the playground meets all installation, safety, and design requirements.
